Adam

Adam LaRoche grew up running around ballparks across America emerged in the baseball life with his two brothers: Jeff and Andy. Their dad was both a major-league player and coach for some of baseball’s most well-known teams, including the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox. 

Adam himself, with his wife, Jennifer, son Drake and daughter Montana, went on to have a successful career in baseball playing with several teams. The most prominent being the Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals. From being known as a fantastic first baseman and steady with the bat, Adam won the 2012 National League Silver Slugger and Gold Glove awards with the Washington Nationals. After 12 years in the MLB, Adam retired in 2016. 

Out of all his baseball accolades, Adam is probably best known for his ability to make friends, be a friend, and build relationships. Always a favorite among teammates, Adam’s uncanny ability to connect people led him to join the show that puts an entertaining spin on hunting camp, called Buck Commander. He joined the BC crew along with longtime friends, Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty, country singers Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Tyler Farr, and great teammates, Ryan Langerhans and Tom Martin. 

Upon retirement, Adam now resides on the E3 Ranch in Fort Scott, KS, where he focuses his attention on family and philanthropic efforts through the E3 Ranch Foundation. With a Christ-centered approach, the Foundation fights against human trafficking, supports those in crisis, and serves those who have spent their lives serving us—our combat veterans. Following his retirement from baseball, Adam has now joined Bourbon County Kansas Sheriff’s office as a Deputy and works alongside Homeland Security Investigations, specifically on Kansas City’s human trafficking task force.  

Adam says, “Our Commander, Jesus, came to serve, not to be served.  I have spent a lot of my life serving me, which only leads to unfulfillment. So whether it’s going where no one else wants to go, defending those who can’t defend themselves, or hosting and serving our nation’s warriors, I want to spend the rest of my life serving others.
